Football Camp
The Lutheran West Football camp designed to give each individual athlete a solid foundation in the basic football fundamentals needed to excel at his specific position. Lutheran West Head Football Coach John Parrella directs this program with assistance from his staff and guest coaches. Camp Highlights - A Longhorn football camp t-shirt for each participant, Fundamentals for each position, Weight Room and Nutrition talk by Head Strength Coach Dave Krieger.

Entering Grades: 3rd - 9th Players will be separated by grade 3-6th and 7th-9th both non contact. Times: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Camp Director Bio:
John Parrella is entering his fifth season at the helm of the Longhorn football program. Under his leadership, Lutheran West is 27-16. In his tenure the Longhorns earned CVC Metro Championships in 2021 and 2022. The 2022 season was a historic one as Coach Parrella guided Lutheran West to the school’s first OHSAA playoff win, besting Toledo Scott 31-0. That same season he was named CVC Metro Coach of the Year. The Longhorns have made the OHSAA playoffs every year on Coach Parrella’s watch. Coach Parrella played for 12 seasons in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, and San Diego Chargers. He also coached at The University of Nebraska and with The Cleveland Browns
