Entering Grades: 4th - 9th Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cost: $100 REGISTER

Cannot guarantee t-shirt for registrants less than 2 weeks prior to camp start date.
There will be an additional $5 charge for walk ups.

The Longhorn Boys Basketball Camp includes:

Daily sets of teaching stations where fundamental skills are taught and worked on
- Shooting
- Passing
- Ball Handling
- Screening and Using Screens
- Individual Defense
- Individual Rebounding
- Triple Threat Position
Competitions each day
- Free Throws
- Layups
- Hot Shot
Daily talks that develop spiritual and mental aspects for young players
- Given by Lutheran West Coaching Staff and Outside Speakers
Daily 1 on 1, 3 on 3, & 5 on 5 Game Play
Camp awards ceremony on last day of camp

Each camper will receive:

Individual instruction from Lutheran West coaching staff
The “Longhorn Youth Skills Development Program”
Camp T-shirt

More importantly, this camp strives to teach faith, discipline, teamwork, leadership, humility, passion, and compassion to help mold Christian character and values in each camper.

Notes:

Camp will be led by the High School coaching staff, as well as current high school players. All players should bring a water bottle.

Camp Director Bio:

Coach Duke is in his 4th year as the Head Boys Basketball coach at Lutheran West, with an overall record of at Lutheran West of 66-14 through the 2023-24 season. In 2022-23, the Longhorns reached the Division II State Championship game losing to Buchtel at the buzzer. In 2023-24, Lutheran West was ranked #1 in all of DII throughout the entire season. The Longhorns came up short in the Regional Final to Shelby. Duke was named the Northeast Lakes District Division II Coach of the Year in 2021-2022. Coach Duke spent his first 6 seasons as a Head Coach at Cleveland Central Catholic high school.
